The products are taken over by a continuous running belt. This can be from an upstream machine, or a conveyor belt that is loaded manually. A jam is created and a separating belt pulls the products into the flowpack machine.
The horizontal packaging machine starts only when there are enough products. This is determined by a min/max jam detection. As a result, there are no empty bags and the machine runs continuously.
If there is a lot of product, the form-fill-seal machine will automatically speed up a bit to guarantee that all products are discharged.
